     By late 1987 ,  I was in constant pain and exhausted .   I went to bed at 7:30 p.m. in the evening whenever possible.  I had diarrhoea or was sick after every meal. I felt as if an elephant was sitting on my chest. I was stiff and arthritic. My body skeletal joints were sore and throbbing . My left side of my body was in constant spasm. I had splitting sinus headaches and a totally blocked nose and nasal passages.
I urinated and sweated constantly. I was bloated with fluid even though I was underweight. I had gained no weight at all. There was nothing , literally nothing , that I could tolerate on my skin - even for washing or cleaning.
I could not wear tight clothing or stockings.  All of my clothes made me sore. If I sat on certain fabric materials I got blisters on my vulva.
In short my health was a mess.
